PALM CE Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of palmce.com, the PALM CE online learning platform, and courses purchased through PALM CE.
PALM CE stands for Professional Advancement Learning in Massage. In these terms, “PALM CE,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the business providing the courses. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing the website or purchasing a course.
Please read these terms before purchasing. By accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to the conditions described below.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
“Website” means palmce.com and the associated PALM CE learning platform.
“Course” means an educational offering provided by PALM CE, including its lessons, videos, readings, assessments, and supporting materials.
“Account” means your individual learner account.
“Course materials” means educational content made available through your enrollment.
“CE hours” means continuing education hours identified for a course.
“Completion requirements” means the activities and assessments that must be successfully completed to earn a certificate.
2. Age Restrictions
Courses are intended for adults age 18 or older, primarily massage therapists seeking continuing education or professional development.
Enrollment does not establish professional licensure or authorize a learner to practice massage therapy.
3. Business Customers
An employer or organization purchasing courses for staff must arrange separate enrollment for each learner unless PALM CE provides a written group agreement.
Each participant must complete their own coursework and assessments. Purchasing a course for another person does not authorize sharing one learner account among multiple people.
4. Intellectual Property
PALM CE and its content owners retain ownership of course materials, including videos, narration, text, assessments, graphics, logos, and presentation designs.
Enrollment grants you a limited, personal, nontransferable right to access the purchased course during the stated access period. It does not transfer ownership of the materials.
You may download materials specifically designated for download and retain them for your personal professional reference.
5. Third-Party Intellectual Property
Some courses may include licensed images, quotations, references, or other content owned by third parties.
Those materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Access through PALM CE does not grant permission to reuse them beyond the permissions expressly provided.
6. Permitted Use of Course Materials
You may use course materials for your own learning and professional reference.
Without written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly post, record, or use the materials to teach another course. You may not upload PALM CE materials to another platform or service to reproduce or republish them.
These restrictions do not limit uses permitted by applicable law.
7. Links to Other Websites
Courses or website pages may link to outside resources for additional information.
Third-party websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. PALM CE does not control their content, availability, or services. A resource link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
8. Links to PALM CE
You may share links to publicly available PALM CE pages, provided you do not misrepresent an affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
You may not distribute private course links, share account credentials, bypass enrollment controls, or embed protected course content without permission.
9. Use of Communication Features
When using course comments, discussion areas, support channels, or other communication features, communicate respectfully and lawfully.
Do not post harassment, threats, discriminatory content, spam, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
Do not submit identifiable client records or confidential health information. Remove identifying details from any practice example you choose to share.
PALM CE may remove content or restrict features when necessary to address violations of these terms.
10. Learner Accounts
Provide accurate registration information and use the name you want recorded on your certificate, consistent with applicable credentialing requirements.
Keep your password secure and do not share your account.
You must complete your own assessments. Impersonation, answer sharing, and submitting another person’s work as your own are prohibited.
Contact support@palmce.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use or need help correcting account information.
11. Suspension or Termination of Accounts
PALM CE may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, account sharing, assessment misconduct, security threats, or other material violations.
When appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to respond or correct it. Immediate restrictions may be necessary to protect the platform or other users.
Any termination or restriction remains subject to applicable law, purchased access rights, and any required refund obligations.
12. Services, Pricing, and Availability
Course pages describe the content, format, CE hours, completion requirements, price, and access period available at the time of purchase.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and charges will be shown before payment.
Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. A later price change does not alter a completed purchase.
If a material listing or pricing error affects an order, PALM CE will contact the purchaser to resolve it rather than charge an undisclosed amount.
13. Orders and Provision of Services
An enrollment is confirmed when payment is accepted and PALM CE issues an order confirmation or grants course access.
Courses are delivered online. Unless stated otherwise on the course page, no printed materials or in-person instruction are included.
You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and software capable of accessing the stated course formats.
Course access lasts for the period disclosed before purchase. Enrollment does not include lifetime access unless expressly stated.
Contact support@palmce.com if a confirmed purchase does not appear in your account.
14. Cancellations and Refunds
You may request a refund within seven calendar days of purchase if you have not started the course, accessed its instructional content, downloaded course materials, or attempted an assessment.
After any of those activities, purchases are generally nonrefundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise or PALM CE approves an exception.
Contact support@palmce.com with your order details to report a duplicate charge, incorrect enrollment, or course access problem.
If PALM CE cannot provide the purchased course as described, we will work with you on an appropriate remedy, which may include restoring access, extending access, or issuing a refund.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method when available. Payment-provider processing times may vary.
Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable consumer protection law.
15. Privacy
PALM CE’s Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared, and retained.
Please review that policy before creating an account or purchasing a course.
These Terms & Conditions do not replace the Privacy Policy.
16. Use of Personal Information and Course Records
Information needed to administer enrollment may include your name, contact information, course progress, assessment results, completion date, and professional license information.
Where a course includes reporting to a board or reporting service, provide accurate identifying information and follow the stated reporting instructions.
Course and completion records may be retained to meet applicable credentialing, reporting, business, or legal obligations. Details about data handling and service providers appear in the Privacy Policy.
17. Educational Disclaimers and CE Eligibility
PALM CE provides continuing education and professional development. Course content does not provide individualized medical advice, establish a diagnosis, or expand a learner’s legal scope of practice.
Apply course information within your training, competence, professional responsibilities, and applicable practice requirements.
Provider approval and course acceptance are separate matters. Review the specific course’s approval information and confirm that its subject, format, and hours satisfy your licensing board’s requirements before purchasing.
Completing a course does not guarantee license renewal, employment, income, or a particular client outcome.
18. Changes to Services and Terms
PALM CE may update course content, platform features, or these terms.
Material changes affecting an existing purchase will be communicated appropriately. Changes will not retroactively remove purchased access or refund rights.
If we cannot continue providing a purchased course during its promised access period, we will offer an appropriate remedy.
The version of the purchase terms accepted at checkout governs that purchase, except where a change is required by law or otherwise agreed.
19. Website Availability and Technical Support
Maintenance, internet disruptions, and third-party service interruptions may temporarily affect access.
Report access difficulties to support@palmce.com. Include the course name, device or browser used, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or complete payment-card details.
If a PALM CE service interruption materially prevents course completion during the purchased access period, we will work with you on an appropriate remedy.
20. Responsibility and Limitations of Liability
You remain responsible for professional decisions made in your practice. Course examples illustrate educational principles and do not replace individualized evaluation, appropriate referral, or professional judgment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PALM CE does not accept responsibility for losses caused by unauthorized account sharing, misuse of course materials, or reliance on content outside its intended educational purpose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits nonwaivable consumer rights.
21. No Waiver
A delay or failure by PALM CE to enforce a provision does not automatically waive the right to enforce it later.
Any waiver of a particular issue does not waive other provisions or future violations.
22. Previous Terms and Order of Priority
These terms replace earlier general website terms from their effective date, subject to the protections for existing purchases described in Section 18.
If a course-specific offer accepted at checkout differs from these general terms, the specific purchase terms govern that issue.
A later website revision does not automatically alter an earlier purchase agreement.
23. Third-Party Rights and Severability
These terms govern the relationship between PALM CE and the learner. They do not create additional enforcement rights for unrelated third parties.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
24. Communications
For enrollment questions, course support, certificate corrections, accessibility requests, billing concerns, or complaints, contact:

Email: support@palmce.com
PALM CE may send necessary account, purchase, course, and completion communications to the email address associated with your account.
Marketing preferences and unsubscribe choices are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy and applicable communications.
25. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without limiting mandatory protections available under applicable law.
If a concern arises, contact support@palmce.com so we can attempt to resolve it.
Nothing in these terms requires you to waive a right to contact a licensing board, regulator, consumer protection agency, or payment provider, or to pursue remedies available under applicable law.
